Funeral Service for Mrs. Sarah Wallace,75, of Belle Mina, AL will be 1:00PM Saturday at Jerusalem P.B. Church with the Reverend Ronnie Patton officiating. Inhumation will follow in Garrett Cemetery. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to service. Public viewing will be Friday from 1:00PM until 5:00PM at Reynolds Funeral Home.
Sarah Yarbrough Wallace was born on January 11, 1950 in Limestone County to the late Sarah Long and Ernest Yarbrough. She gained her heavenly wings on January 17, 2025 at Madison Hospital in Madison, Alabama.
She was a 1970 graduate of Trinity High School in Athens, AL. She accepted Christ as her personal savior at an early age at Jerusalem Primitive Baptist Church in Tanner, Alabama.
Sarah was united in holy matrimony to Louis Lee Wallace on November 23, 1985 in Limestone County.
Sarah was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, sister and brother.
She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters: China Yarbrough (Robert) of Decatur, AL and Lisa “CoCo” Wallace of Madison, AL; three sons: Tyrone Yarbrough Jr. (Tammy) of Athens, AL, Louis “Lulu” Yarbrough (Jacquese) of Harvest, AL and Amos Yarbrough of Athens, AL; six surviving siblings, eleven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, two aunts, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends who loved and were loved by her.
