Reynolds Funeral Home announces with deepest sympathy the passing of Mr. Scott Benjamin Carey,55, of Decatur, Alabama. Mr. Carey served as a Sergent in the U.S. Army. Mr. Carey was an employee of Wayne Farms in Decatur, Alabama. He will be loved and missed by those who knew him. He leaves to cherish his memory: one sister Shannon Swanner and one brother David Carey of Athens, Alabama. A private memorial will be held at a later date. Mr. Carey transitioned September 6, 2023, at his residence.
