Sherman Seay (“Bug”) Morris

Graveside service  for Mr. Sherman Seay “Bug” Morris, 45 of Decatur, Alabama will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Decatur City Cemetery. Inhumation will be in Decatur City Cemetery with Bishop Thomas D. Strong officiating.  Public viewing will be Saturday from noon to 5:00 P.M. at Reynolds Funeral Home.  

Sherman “Bug” Morris, Jr. was born on September 20, 1974 to Sherman Morris, Sr. and the late Debra Jackson-Tucker in Decatur, AL.  He departed this life on Earth Tuesday, July 7, 2020 in Decatur, AL.

Sherman was a kind and gentle soul. Everyone that he interacted with, walked away with a smile. He often talked about life’s  journey.  He was a great father, brother, son, uncle, cousin, friend, and everyone’s neighborhood uncle.  He loved hard and he laughed harder!  His memory will be remain in our hearts forever.  We miss you brother and love you still.  We find comfort in knowing you are in heaven with Mama. Until we meet again.  

He was preceded in death by his mother, Debra Jackson-Tucker, and his niece, Mercedes Morris. 

Left to cherish his memory: his father, Sherman Morris Sr. (Marilyn) of Hillsboro, AL; his daughters, Shadee Morris of Decatur, AL, and Ky’Lee Morris of Huntsville, AL; his step-sons, Terrance Driggers, Kestalis Driggers, and Charles Bass of Chicago, IL, Charles Gray and Jayceen Mock of Birmingham, AL; and he loved and cared for LaZarrious Orr of Decatur, AL; his siblings, Mario Morris of South Bend, IN, Tracy Clemons (Darrin, Sr.) of Decatur, AL, Litora Morris of Huntsville, AL, Shontez Wynn (Corey) Decatur, AL, Andreas Shackleford of Huntsville, AL, Tia Stevenson of Decatur, AL, Christopher Shackleford of Hillsboro, AL, Turquoise Tucker of Huntsville, AL, Jasen Morris of Hillsboro, AL, Jasmine Tucker of Starkville, MS, Dominique Tucker of Huntsville, AL; a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, and other friends.
