A Celebration of Life for Ms. Stephanie Monique Jones, 37 of Decatur, Alabama will be noon Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Westside MB Church with Minister Tamala Marshall officiating. Inhumation will follow in Decatur City Cemetery. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to service. Public viewing will be Friday from 11-5 at Reynolds Funeral Home.
Due to the spread of the Coronavirus, the family, the church officials and the funeral staff are limiting the service to immediate family only.
Stephaine Monique Jones was born July 17, 1982 in Morgan County. She finished her journey in this life on March 15, 2020 at Huntsville Hospital.
Stephaine was a graduate of Lee High School where she learned to draw and become very fond of art. She put that love of art in her daily life by drawing inspiring pictures. She also loved to shop and was always current in the latest styles and trends.
Stephaine loved people, especially her family. She was a joy to be around. She was always opened to helpinganyone that was in need. When her illness overwhelmed her body she still remained happy, filled with love and very inspirational to others.
Stephaine confessed hope in Christ at an early age and became a member of Fletcher’s Chapel Primitive Baptist Church. She later moved her membership to Westside Missionary Baptist Church where she remained until her health failed.
Stephaine was preceded in death by her twin sister Tiffany Nicole Jones.
Stephaine leaves behind a ray of love to cherish her memory, her devoted parents Jerry and Peggy Jones Seay of Decatur, Al; her father Johnnie Williams of Atlanta, Ga; one sister Tamala Marshall and one brother Kemoine Seay (Angela) both of Decatur, AL; loving grandparents; Willie and Emma Jones of Decatur, AL and Fannie Mae Williams of Belle Mina, AL; two devoted uncles Calvin Jones (Renae) of Kansas City, MI and Freddie Williams (Tammy) of Madison, AL ; three loving and kind nieces, Shakiah Garth, HannahJones and Jacquelyn Marshall; and one dedicatednephew, Jacob Marshall all of Decatur, AL; a faithful and loving friend, Micheal Ross of New Boston, Texas; and a host of other aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.
