Private Graveside Service for Mr. Thomas L. Foster, 60 of Decatur will be 12:30pm Saturday, April 4, 2020 at Cottingham Cemetery in Hillsboro with the Reverend Antwon Plott officiating.
Mr. Thomas Levolia Foster was born October 14, 1959 in Lawrence, AL to the late Levolia Foster Jr., and Nancy Sander Foster. Thomas departed this life on March 31, 2020 at Huntsville Hospital.
He accepted Christ at an early age and was a devoted member of Bethlehem P.B. Church of Hillsboro, AL.
He graduated from Courtland High School in 1977, from there he joined the United States Army and served four years to this country.
He was employed at Owen’s Corning (Kohler) in Madison, AL, and also was the Director of 3rd Street Boy’s and Girl’s Club in Decatur, AL.
Thomas leaves to cherish his memory: a daughter, Alexandria Foster of Huntsville, AL; one son, Mario Stanley of Decatur, AL; a devoted mother, Nancy Sander Foster of Hillsboro; one brother, Micheal Foster (Lucy) of Hillsboro; two sisters, Nancinda Staten and Jacqueline Foster both of Hillsboro; one granddaughter, Justice Stanley of Decatur, AL; one grandson, Elijah Ayers of Decatur, AL; five foster children, Tarirus Matthews (LaQuita), Celica Matthews, WB Harris, Gabrielle Foster, Jessica Smith all of Decatur, AL; three aunts, Rebell Moore of Decatur, AL, Thelma Johnson (Billy) of Town Creek, AL, Barbara Woodfork (Wendell) of Chicago, IL; three uncles, Carswell Sanders (Sarah) of Town Creek, AL, Barry Cougar (Janice) of Tuscumbia, AL; and devoted uncle, James Robert Bowman of Hillsboro, AL; two loving god-daughters, La’Shondria and Jakesha Foster both of Hillsboro, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
