Tiffany Elaine Thompson

A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Tiffany Elaine Thompson,53 of Decatur, Alabama will be noon Friday at Westside M.B. Church with Bishop Cary Orr eulogist and the Reverend Keenan Nichols officiating. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to service. Public viewing will be Thursday from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Reynolds Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Reynolds Funeral Home. 

Ms. Tiffany Elaine Thompson was born on May 6, 1971. She was the daughter of Annie Lois Powell and the late Jimmy Powell, Sr. Her biological parents were Mary Virginia Thompson of Patterson, New Jersey and James Guster of Athens, Alabama. Tiffany was the granddaughter of the late Louise Ellison, the late Jimmy Ellison, the late Catherine Powell, and the late Willie D. Powell.

She confessed Christ at an early age and became a member of Westside Missionary Baptist Church. She was a member of Choir #4 and the Sunbeams during her early years at Westside. She was employed at Hampton Inn in Decatur, Alabama. She loved her family.

Tiffany Thompson will always be remembered by: her sons, Jarquarius Thompson of Memphis, TN, and Blake Bumpus (Drica Clemmons) of Decatur, AL; five grandchildren who she adored, Jamarion Thompson, Jade Thompson, Naryha Bumpus, Jalaysia Thompson, and Amina Bumpus; two sisters, Tina Powell and
Coretta Powell of Decatur, AL; eight brothers, Jimmy Powell, Jr., Orlando Powell (Erica), Tyrone Prince, Marcus Prince, Dwight Guster of Decatur, AL, Jermaine Thompson, Tyrone Thompson, and Johnny Thompson, all of Patterson, NJ; aunts, Ruby Ellison, Cleasie Miller, Cleo (Louis) Rollins, Willie Jones (Walter), Ella Mary Moore, Joann Thompson, Emma Jean Jefferson, Lynn
Cohn, all of Decatur, AL, Mary Walls, and Carrie Oats (Frank) both of Huntsville, AL; uncles, George Ellison, Earnest Thompson (Shonna), Billy Joe Thompson, Larry Thompson, Bruce Allen (Cynthia) of TX, Don Thompson, George Guster (Hattie), Ronald Guster (Imogene) of GA, Jamor Thompson of West Palm Beach Florida, Mike Guster (Glenda), Charles Guster (Martha), and Joe
Guster (Nakita); a special friend, Aaron Middlebrooks; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
