Timothy Patterson Echols

Reynolds Funeral Home announces with deepest sympathy the passing of Mr. Timothy Patterson Echols, 20 of Decatur, Alabama. Mr. Echols transitioned October 22, 2024, in Nashville, TN. 

Timothy Patterson Echols was born on May 16, 2004, in Decatur, Alabama to Darrell (Tabor) Echols and Tiffany Shiree Patterson.  He departed this life on October 22, 2024 in Tennessee. He graduated from Decatur High School in 2022 and was attending Calhoun Community College majoring in automotive technology. Timothy enjoyed many hobbies including basketball and fishing.  Following in the father’s footsteps, Timothy also had a passion for cooking.  He loved to create new dishes and cook for others. Over the last few years, Timothy began to develop a love for cars.  He was looking forward to becoming a Master Automotive Technician. Timothy was loved by everyone who knew him and was always the first to lend an ear or a helping hand to those in need. 

Timothy was preceded in life by grandparents Jackie Williams and Ella Patterson.  

He leaves behind to cherish his loving memory:  brother Darrell “Jamar” Echols, sister Taylor Echols, grandparents Gloria and Paul McRae and Robert Patterson and Denise Williams, aunts and uncles Corey (Ariel) Williams, Ivori Patterson, Nikita (Rickey) Burks, Chloe Patterson, Delvin (Kiya) McRae, Jeremy Williams, Rhyne Patterson, and Jasmine McRae.  He also leaves behind an extensive group of cousins, friends and a large community that love him.
