Timothy Eugene Hampton

Timothy Eugene Hampton, 52, was born August 27,1969 in Lansing, Michigan. He was the son of Jerry Gale Hampton and the late Marvel Elaine Larson. He departed this life on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Decatur Morgan Hospital.

Tim graduated from Everett High School. He attended Lansing Community College and Michigan State University. He later attended Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts where he earned his Culinary Arts certificate. He loved to cook and enjoyed working as a chef. 

Tim proposed to Tina Marie Perez, of Berwyn, Illinois, on Valentine's day, 2020. He was her person and she was his best friend. They resided together in Decatur, Alabama where they were making plans to be married. He also leaves behind a father, brother, Patrick Wayne Hampton (Tonja), and many loving relatives and dear friends. 

Tim loved his family, and he loved his country. He was old school, and always the perfect gentleman. He had a warm smile and kind eyes. He loved getting to know new people and he was always trying to make folks laugh. He had a brilliant mind, and he loved sharing his knowledge with others. He will be dearly missed.
