Tom Verser Sr.

Mr. Tom Verser, Jr. 91 of Hartselle, Alabama was born in Dumas, Arkansas on October 11, 1928 to the late Tom Verser Sr. and Lucendia Gardenhie Verser. He relocated to Hartselle, Alabama in 2009.  He departed this life on July 31, 2020 in Decatur, Alabama at Decatur Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Mr. Verser was employed as a construction worker for many years until his retirement. His hobbies included: playing Blues on the guitar, visiting the casinos and working on cars in which he was a great mechanic.  He loved his family and enjoying life.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Louvenia Verser.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his three children, Tommie Verser of McKinney, TX, Athel Faye Curtis of Lansing, MI and Theresa (Barry) Carter of Hartselle, AL; 18 grandchildren, Tammia, Tiara, DeQuan, Shamari, Tommie Jr., Tivez, Xavier, Isiah, Cassie, Curtis, Marsha, Lorrie, Corey, Datrice, Verser, Britany, Donte and April; and a host of great-grandchildren, cousins,  other relatives and friends.

Due to the COVID-19 epidemic there will be no memorial service held at this time for Mr. Verser.  Reynolds
