Tyler O’neal Jones

Reynolds Funeral Home announces with deepest sympathy the passing of Mr. Tyler O’Neal Jones, 19 of Decatur, Alabama.  Mr. Jones passed away on August 14, 2020 at the Decatur General Campus of Decatur Morgan Hospital.

Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Decatur City Cemetery with the Reverend Eddie L. Walton Jr., officiating. 

Tyler O’neal Jones was born on April 5, 2001 to Monique Orr and Elijah Harris in Decatur, Alabama. He went home to be with the Lord on August 14, 2020 at Decatur Morgan Hospital-Decatur General Campus.

He attended school in the Decatur City School System.

Baby Tyler as he was affectionately called by his mom was truly a lovable son. He never met a stranger. He was a jokster and always enjoyed making people happy. He loved being around his family and friends. Tyler was respectful, brave and caring. He was the definition of LOVE. He was all about taking care of his loved ones so that they could live life comfortably without a struggle. He had a heart of pure gold. Our sweet bully, our baby bro. radiated love everywhere he went literally. We love our little bro, we will ALWAYS have your back, baby.

He was preceded in death by: his great-grandparents.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Monique Orr; father, Elijah Harris; sister, Ambriana Jones (Cornelius); brothers, Xavier Jones and Derrick Jones (Ariana); grandparents, Rosie Pearl and Johnie Orr; uncles, Perez Orr (Sonia) and Billy Orr; aunts, Teresa Orr and Rosalyn Orr; niece, Anaira Jones; nephews, Senoj Jones, Arayne Jones; cousins, Larry Orr (Sharmesha), Stacy Orr, Paris Orr, PJ Orr and Rasheed Thompson, a host of other cousins, and many friends.
