Wilbert M Simpson

Reynolds Funeral Home announces with deepest sympathy the passing of Mr. Wilbert Maurice Simpson, 61 of Moulton, Alabama.  Mr. Simpson died on October 26, 2020 at his residence. Family will have a private memorial service at a later date.

Wilbert Maurice Simpson was born August 2, 1959 in Lawrence County, Alabama to the late Johnnie Simpson and his mother, Mattie Simpson. Maurice was the third child born to this union.

He attended Tennessee Valley and graduated from Courtland High School.  He worked for the City of Moulton Water Department for many years.

Maurice leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Mattie Simpson; two sons, Sorrell Hubbard and Sidney Hubbard; four grandchildren; one sister, Charlotte Simpson of Hillsboro, AL; one brother, Jeffery Simpson (Jennifer) of Decatur; two sisters-in-law, Sharon Simpson of Hillsboro, AL and Mary Simpson of Decatur, AL; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
