A Celebration of Life for Mr. William Anthony “Boo” Brooks, 41 of Decatur will be noon Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Reynolds Funeral Home will the Reverend Eddie Walton officiating and inhumation in Decatur City Cemetery.
William was born to the late Mack Collier and Maxine Brooks Collier on May 18, 1977 in Decatur, Alabama. He departed his life on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Decatur General Campus of Decatur Morgan Hospital.
He was preceded in death by: his daughter, Makayla “Katie” Samone Burt; his parents; Mack and Maxine Collier; grandmother, Sophia Jennings; three sisters, Catherine “Cat” Brooks, Mary Ann Brooks and Lisa Diane Brooks.
“Boo” accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age at Progressive Outreach Ministries. He attended Austin High School and was disabled.
Those left to cherish his memory includes his devoted fiancé, Mary Davis; two sons, Maki Burt and William Anthony Brooks Jr.; three stepchildren, Xavier Davis, Justice Davis and Nicholas White Jr.; six sisters, Jeanette Miller, Yvonne Williams, Carla Faye High (Tommie), Vanessa Larvern Malone (Derrick), Emma Dee Brooks and Camirra Hamilton; four brothers, Collis Brooks Jr., Larry Brooks, Orlando Garner and Mack Collier; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other loving relatives and friends.
Flower Bearers will be Regina Mangrum, Felicia McLaurin, Wanda Fennell, Freda Long, Erica Tapscott, Stacy Watson, Sherry Williams and Sequoia Orr.
Pallbearers will Tavoris Taylor, Stephan Hamilton, Atlantis Jarman, Fernando Ford, Decorius Orr, Mortez Elliott, Desmond Wiggins and Torey Brooks.
