Reynolds Funeral Home announces with deepest sympathy the passing of Mr. William Arthur McDaniel, 60 of Moulton, Alabama. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 28, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Reynolds Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Bishop Timothy Bumpus, officiating.
William Arthur McDaniel was born on February 6, 1960 in Lawrence County, AL to the late Rufus Arthur McDaniel and Hattie Pearl Lloyd McDaniel. He departed this life on August 22, 2020 at North Alabama Medical Center in Florence, AL.
William attended Lawrence County High School. He accepted Christ at an early age and united with Freeman Tabernacle Baptist Church. He later attended Oakville M.B. Church and Courtland Seventh-day Adventist Church.
William was married to Tessie Jenkins McDaniel. He had two children. Marvin Mitchell and Ahsha Brown. He was disabled. He previously worked at SSI/Factory as an assembly line worker He was a very outspoken and straight-forward person. Mitchell was humorous and known to be a peacemaker. He was a member of the Army Reserve.
William was preceded in death by his parents.
William leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Tessie Jenkins McDaniel; his loving children, Marvin Mitchell of Decatur and Ahsha Brown of Cleveland, OH; his siblings, Victor McDaniel (Amy) of Moulton, Patrick McDaniel of Huntsville and Michelle McDaniel of Moulton; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
