Willie Taylor Sr.

Private Graveside Service for Mr. Wille Taylor Sr., 89 of Decatur, Alabama will be noon Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at Sterrs Cemetery with Elder Kenneth Lankford officiating and Reynolds Funeral Home  directing.

Willie Taylor was born July 31, 1930 in Belle Mina, Alabama to the late Emmitt Taylor and Addie Malone. He transitioned to his heavenly home on April 9, 2020, at his residence.

Willie confessed a belief in Christ in 1975 and joined Fletcher’s Chapel P.B. Church where he became a faithful member and dedicated Deacon. Willie was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great great-grandfather and friend.  He was married to the late Ollie Ruth Taylor.

He leaves his memory to be cherished by: his nine children, Charles Evans of Lima, OH, Doris Bell, Willie James Taylor, Linda Jordan (Randell), Billy Taylor, Laura Watkins, Irvin “Kent” Taylor, Janice Jones (Michael), all of Decatur, and Lesia Hill (Joe) of Hillsboro, AL; at a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
