Services for Mrs. Willie Nadine Young, 78 of Moulton, Alabama will be Noon, Friday at Freeman Tabernacle Baptist Church with the Rev. Lavone Williams officiating. Inhumation will follow in Moulton Memory Gardens. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to viewing. Public viewing will be Thursday from 1:00PM until 5:00PM at Reynolds Funeral Home.
She was born on August 5, 1944 to the union of Ellis Lee Suggs and Hattie Mae Suggs. Mrs. Young transitioned on December 3, 2022, peacefully surrounded by her family at NHC Healthcare in Moulton. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Lymos Bobby Young, who preceded her in death. To this union four children were born.
She was a graduate of Moulton High School and was a homemaker and caregiver. She confessed hope in Christ at an early age. Nadine always had favor on her life even before becoming a Christian. She loved singing for the Lord. And began to grow spiritually. It quickly became apparent that there was an extraordinary call on her life. A devoted member of the Miracle Light House of Prayer in Moulton, AL, where she served as an Evangelist whenever she was needed. She also traveled yearly to Lima, OH to teach God’s Word and worship with her sister and other family members.
Survivors who will always cherish her memory include: her sons, Christopher Young, Lymos, Joseph Young (Carol) and Marcus Young; stepson, Richard Mason (Cynthia) in Delaware; a loving daughter, Lisa Carter of Atlanta, GA; one brother, Charlie Lee Suggs (Geadie); sisters-in-law, Carlean Young and Louise Jones of Moulton, Annie Gossette of Spartan, SC, the Rev. Samella Young of Aliquippa, PA, Ellis Lee Suggs, Hattie Mae Suggs, Elizabeth Cowan, Glennice Cowan. Rosie Mae Freeman preceded her to heaven and welcomed her home on December 3, 2022.
