Funeral for Ann Marie Green El, 79 of Harvest will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday at Reynolds Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to funeral.

Ann Marie Green El ( Nana ) was born on June 26,1933 to Ada and Thornel Schwartz. Ann Marie’s life ended with us on January 7, 2013.

Ann Marie Graduated from Overbook High School.  She spent most her life working in the school system as a teacher’s aide. She moved with her husband to Huntsville Alamaba in1984, where she own and operated the Donut Hole along with her husband and children. She spent 20 years dedicating her life to the business that became a town staple. There she became everyones “Nana”. Being the reason many made sure they showed up before 9 am to be greeted by her wonderful presence before heading off on the rest of their work day. Throughout her life she carried the blessing of Abraham as the mother of many children. She always treated everyone with love and kindness, and she always showed unconditional love and support to anyone who needed it.

Ann Marie was dearly cherished by her family, and shared 57 years with her beloved husband David Green El.
Marie was preceded in death by her Mother and Father; Ada and Thornel Schwartz, son; Russell Green, two sisters; Alice Clark and Juanita Hollaway, two brorthers; Thronel Schwartz and Leroy Schwartz.
