Visitation for Carol Evon McDaniel, 42 of Hartselle, Alabama will be Thursday, June 1, 2016 from 6:00 pm-7:15 PM at Reynolds Funeral Home and A Celebration of Life will follow with the Reverend James Roach officiating.

Carol was born November 1, 1973 in Lawrence County, Alabama to Clifford Gregory Carter and the late Carolyn Aurean McDaniel.  She departed this life on May 27, 2016 at Decatur Morgan Hospital- Decatur General Campus.

She was disabled and attended Lawrence County Schools.  She loved her family and was a joy to all that met her.  She will be missed by her family and friends.

McDaniel was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn A. McDaniel.

Carol leaves a legacy of love to: her spouse, James Earl Orr; three sons, Jerry “Brian” McDaniel, Leequez McDaniel and Mykell Orr all of Hartselle; father, Clifford Gregory (Florence) Carter of Decatur; two stepchildren, Stephanie (Johnson) Batts of Hartselle and James D. Batts of Danville; eight siblings, Omega Carter, Barbara Carter, Lisa Carter, Stacey Adams, Beverly Glover, Brian Bell, Jerrod Adams all of Decatur and James Carter of Nashville, TN;  sister-in-law, Jean Herring; two brothers-in-law, Johnny (Rosie Pearl) Orr and Charlie (Rosie Lee) Orr and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.
