Losing a love one in death can be especially heartbreaking. We can find hope and comfort in reading Jehovah God word the Bible. There will be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.( John 5: 28 , 29 )

I am so sorry to hear about the lost of your loved one. Jeanette liked to teach people because she wanted to help people Jesus also taught people because he loved them and he wanted to help them he taught them about his father's Kingdom that will soon do away with sickness and death ( Revelation 21:4) and will solve mankind s problems.

I met Jeanette in the early 1990s when she operated the Historical Arts Museum on Meridian Street. I can never pass that house, even all these years later, without thinking of her great energy and passion to tell the history of this country and this town. Happy, bubbling, loving, smart, energetic, encouraging are just some of the character traits of that delightful lady. She wanted the truth to be known - the African-American was in the middle of every American thing. To Huntsville, Alabama A&M, Alabama, the world - Jeanette Stovall Alexander was a great and unexpected fortune to us all.

To the dear family members, I hope and pray that during this time of unspeakable grief, you will find comfort in the fond memories that you have of Jeanette. The Bible is a book a book that gives comfort as you well know. Revelation 21:3-5 promises a time in the near future when death will be no more.
Sincerely TL

It is very difficult to scope with the death of those we loved so dearly. It does bring a measure of comfort to our hearts to know that soon all those asleep in the memorial tombs will hear Jesus Christ's voice and come out. The resurrection is a reality that will soon be fulfilled on a peaceful earth, because Jesus Christ has demonstrated his power and ability to lovingly give us what has been lost. (John 5:28 &29; John 11:25)

I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Alexander's death. She was my kindergarten teacher at Speake Elementary in 1978. We all remember her fondly and were so blessed when she attended our high school graduation in 1990. Prayers to all of her family as you lay to rest this beautiful lady.

Such a beautiful spirit was within Ms. Alexander. She would always tell me " Ms. Cowan when i talk to you, you always make me laugh." Well Ms. Alexander i am crying tears and laughing for meeting you was like none other. You were the reason i got the Assistant Directors job in the dorm, You believed in me and knew i would do a great job. Finding the news was so unreal to me. My heart is very heavy. Pam and Cynthia allow the almighty to take over your pain for the walk may be very difficult but the Lord will carry you through this pain every step of the way. Ms. Alexander I will see you on that early get up day when the Lord return.

"PRECIOUS IN THE SITE OF THE LORD IS THE DEATH OF HIS SAINTS" is what Psalms 116:15 states; Sister Jeanette was certainly the Lord's saint! We loved her and will truly miss her beautiful smile and lovely personality! Pam and family, our prayers are with you all; may Jesus wrap His arms around you all and comfort you!

This is a fragile time, a time to be gental with yourself and to give your heart permission to grieve, to feel, to remember. Strength and hope will come again, but for now do what you need to honor this sorrow, letting your heart and spirit heal.
